Up for auction is a really gorgeous Driftwood with 2 Dolphins Sculpture. This piece is signed on the Dolphin's tail. It was made by Pete Johnston of the Johnston Art Foundry in the Bahamas. The Johnston Foundry was founded in 1952 in Little Harbor, Abaco by Randolph Johnston and his wife and 3 sons. He was an artist and professor. He created the 1st and only art foundry in the Bahamas. They produced Bronze Sculptures using the ancient technique of the lost wax process. In 1992 Randolph passed away and son, Pete added the foundry to his already thriving business of the famous Pete's Pub in Little Harbor. The dolphins are bronze and the driftwood is an exceptional piece. The driftwood measures about 8 1/2" in length, 7" wide and 6" tall. Check out my other interesting and eclectic items.
